When I reflect on my life, the word ‘ridiculous’ often pops up—but in the best possible way.
Despite bumps in the road, there’s an unstoppable spirit within me that keeps me moving forward. Over the years, friends have encouraged me to share my stories, and now I’m finally taking the plunge!
I’m Cathy Dietz, the self-proclaimed “Queen of the Nobodies,” and please, no “awww, Cathy, no you’re not!”. I truly am! It’s a playful nod to the fact that people often make assumptions about me that are miles off the mark. As a student of life with an eclectic history—from pizza delivery driver, mom and business owner to my current part-time job at Trader Joe’s—I continue to learn so many lessons from experiences with people of all walks of life. I have also gained many random skills over the years, many that are coming together now to help me produce this project. Life is really pretty amazing!
With the confidence that comes with age, I am ready to talk about all of this in the hope of possibly helping others gain the confidence to believe in themself, try something new, or even tell their own story. I’m just one of the millions out there, simply trying to live my best life, be a good human, and spread a little bit of joy and hope wherever I go—like Santa Steve and I are doing doing in this image. I’m so happy you’re here!
